  1. Hi Paula, I'm Val, I live in Lufkin too and was banded on Aug 19 th.
  2. I had my band put in on Aug 19th.It was been a week and am doing great. I will not lie, the first few days were as bad as when I had my gallbladder taken out, but by day 3 I was up and running again.I have been nervous about starting mushy foods and will I feel different?
