    Jessica, I also have scar tissue from 5 stomach surgery. My surgeon was able to place my band, it took him well over 3 hours to do the surgery. It was a complete success. Before I saw Dr. Cwyers I had 6 other surgeons tell me it would be impossible due to the scar tissuse. I was banded 01/17/2008 and have lost 65 pounds. Don't give up.
