  1. Hello, I have encountered jealousy thru an entire lifetime, even at 300+ lbs! I am 3 yrs 3 weeks out, and its just as bad as ever! One of my biggest quirks is when some people say surgery is an 'easy way out' in which it is "Not". Some people ask weekly, or bi-weekly about my progress as to wait for that day that i 'slip up' meaning if I happen to gain a few pounds in which in a 3 yr period I have only gained and then lost about 10 pounds. The best way I deal with all this is stop and say to myself "hmmm, isn't this something that I happen to be so special (etc) that the focus always seems to be on me and that they must live very boring, unfufilled lives!" Its quite pathetic, don't you agree?
  2. I am 18 months out and when I saw your post I had to smile.... "she" is indeed a Nut, also very pushy, condecending and I have caught her in a few lies! I like everyone else there, Dr Larson is great, a skilled surgeon who always knows what to do. My very favorite is Kendra, she not only has an awesome personality, shes very compaaionate, at smart too!! Good luck to you in your journey!
  3. i gained a bit too (banded 6/04/08) lost 77 lbs and gained almost 15 by the year and a half (well almost a year and a half) i totally need motivation. i 'do' love my band, however i had to get 'unfills' because when i get aggravated my band becomes very very tight. Good luck with everything!
