As for you Plain...you and gidge are so out of touch with what is going on in this country. I am not going to indulge this conversation any further tonight, but I will be back. It's late and I don't know about the two of you but I have to go to work to pay the taxes that make up for the taxes that the oil companies and the large corporations don't have to pay. Oh, and how can I forget the bailout of Wall Street that you both must be supporting by supporting McCain.

No gidge. You too are trying box things into a label of understanding. It is clear you know how to google and stay doing it to gather information whether true or not. Step outside of your box because everyone's views or beliefs don't coinside with what has been written. What do you have to say as a person I mean the person who doesn't also go to what has been written. What has been your true experience that you endorse writings and believe in them so much that everything you read is truth?

What are you talking about? The person that said Hasselbeck needs to replace Bill O'Rielly hit the nail on the head. Hasellbeck is just as out of touch as McCain and Palin. Oh but Palin is so much more out of touch than everyone put together. She is such a slap in the face of our political system. Not because she is a women, but for so many reasons that I just can't put into this post. What was McCain thinking? Does he really think this country is that stupid? OMG! Oh and I think using religion to promote violence is wrong no matter what religion it is just to adress your post "plain."

Well I consider myself a libertarian and a realist and I don't agree that you can place a box around what that means. I don't think you absorbed what I just posted. Please read it again then come back with something else so we can discuss it.

I think you and the gadget think that being a libertarian thinker means spreading the wealth. No that's not what I interpret this ideology to mean. To me, I think being a middle class citizen, I have supported the richer getting richer just by me getting up every day and going to work. They are the ones who benefit by the tax breaks me and so many people like me should be receiving. Instead, the people who benefit from my efforts to make a living are going to large corporations shipping my job overseas. Padding the pockets of corrupt companies who have already shown where their loyalties are. It is capitalism at its best. Reduced unenforced government regulation, to protect me and my family against China and the crap that we are seeing that has come out there. The current government has slapped me in the face as far as changing the constitutional laws to accommodate their corrupt agendas. No one has stood up to oppose these atrocities against our country. Only the people who are not affected by these issues are the ones who are motivated to reason with this madness and try to appeal to others to buy into this imbalance (not all of them though). People are fed up with this way of thinking. Your thoughts are to protect your wealth, sure but not at my expense. When I vote, I am voting for someone who will be for all people in this country, not just for the wealthy. Obama’s agenda on not giving vouchers so people can give my tax payers dollars so they can send their child to a private school instead of a public school is not something I agree with either. If I decide to bring a child into this world and I am able to provide them the privilege of going to a private school then that’s on me, not the taxpayer. Public funding is for those who need their children to be educated and are unable to provide that extra level of education. Not everyone can go to college. I want my taxes to go to bringing the public school system up to a better standard. This, I think will benefit us all. Again, I don’t want my taxes going to pay for someone else’s child going to private school. I don’t even have kids so don’t put that extra elite tax on me. As far as McCain’s heath care policy, if he has his way, not only will the illegal immigrants continue to tax our health care system but regular people will be forced to practice this as well. If you think about it, you may have wealth now, but you won’t have it for long. This war and the billions funding it…that should be enough to stop you in your tracks because that is another thing that will change how many millionaires and billionaires we have in the country (I say, not for long) not to mention if McCain starts the draft again with his war mongering mentality.

I agree that we shouldn't be on the attack. To me it seems there is something wrong with her band and if she is not feeling any restriction after four fills then there is a problem. It's easy to tell someone to make better food choices and exercise more (I think I've heard that for years). This was an expensive tool that we all expect to give us at least some kind of restriction as to the amount of food we can eat. If it's not working then we question what is going on.

Has your doctor checked to make sure you don't have a leak in the band. It doesn't sound like you are getting the proper restriction. If you have had four fills already and are still able to eat like a normal person maybe the band isn't sustaining the fluid. Ask him to take out what is in there when you have your next fill so you can see if the amount he originally put in is actually what comes out. I heard that some doctors do this everytime they do a fill. I hope it gets better for you. Hang in there.

I received my first fill on Oct 20th and I cannot feel a difference at all. I didn't want him to put to much in because I wasn't sure how it was going to be. Looking back, I wish he had put more in because I can't feel any difference. I started eating regular food and it goes down just like it did before being banded although I can’t eat the same quantity. I am going to call his office and see if they can adjust it or find out if I have to wait until my next appointment a month away. I have a 10cc band with 3.5cc’s in it.

I won't comdemn or agree with his approach. Like McCain, he seems agry and not appealing to the masses. My interest is for people to take a look at his record and listen to why he is stating what he is stating and then talk about it. I wouldn't call him what you called him by any means. I am not a radical person but a realist. To me, people can say anything, but it's what they do not what they say.

I think the real question should be “Are we ready for Palin as the first woman Vice President?” Hell No! She is so unqualified on so many levels and I also think the electoral vote needs to be abolished. As far as Rev. Wright is concerned, if you listen to his full sermons, not just the snippets that you see on TV, he is stating so many truths about being black in American and our history which is still being felt today. Some states still practice this negative mentality more than others. People of color should never be expected to bow their heads and not realize the injustices we have experienced. All I all can say is do a search and listen to Wright's sermons completely. See what he is saying and why. Once you do that then come back and lets talk about it.
