  1. I just got sleeved yesterday. If I could give one piece of advice it would be they are not joking when they say walking will help with the gas pain. For me personally the gas pain was worse then anything else. It was hard to start walking at first but once into it I could feel the pressure start to feel lighter. Good luck to everyone that has their surgery coming up in the next few days! And I hope everyone that is already done is recovering well. Here’s to us taking our lives back. ?
  2. Yes! This liquid diet is doing my head in! I’ve been having the same thoughts. Should I actually? Can I actually? We got this! We are so close! I am hoping the liquid diet before hand will be harder than after since it sounds like we won’t feel too hungry after. Fingers crossed at least. ??
  3. My surgeon is having me do a 10 day liquid diet so I will start that this weekend actually! My nerves are definitely starting to kick in! How are you feeling getting closer?
  4. I was just wondering if anyone else was doing something like that, the food parade, as you called it. I have found myself wanting to have some of the foods I know I won’t be able to enjoy the same after surgery recently. I found myself thinking “this is the last month to enjoy XYZ”
  5. I just scheduled my surgery for October 4th! I am also going to get the VSG. I have been working with my surgeon since May. I have a pre op weight loss goal that I’m still working on, and I had already lost some weight before meeting the surgeon. In total they want me to be down 57 pounds from my heaviest weight. I have about 20 pounds to go still. I’m also working on the fast food bit. That’s definitely been a hard one for me. It’s so easy to just want to pick something up after a long day.
