I am on my journey now if the shrink and my pc get off their butts and let me have it..:cursing:lol...shrink decided to go on vacation after my visit with him..than he came back for 1 day..last week...will be in tomorrow.:tt2:...blood tests 2 said i am -3 pts levels anemic....reg level is 36...last 3 tests said I am over and above..I am normal my pc said on those last 3 tests..lol...he won't release me until i have the endoscope he ordered...grrrrrrrr:angry_smile:...I am having mine done in El Paso with Dr. Acosta...they told me they were more interested in the chest and ekg test and of course the shrink's results..well if this shrink saw me now...i'd like to hang him by his nostrils lol..i started my journey on aug 23..here we are in October...I have been to meet Dr Acosta...that following Wednesday...he didn't put me on no diet...1600-1800 calories..said not to gain weight..heck...with all this stress how can I not?..... does anyone know if they give the results of the endoscopy right there and then? I go on the 9th...and I forgot if it is the consultation or the real thing..endoscope is upper gi...they put a dye in your viens...my first words out of my mouth will be....THE DRUGS ..THE DRUGS....I'Z READY! LOL:sleep: My starting weight will be 239 they said..but at my pc's I am 225...oh well..as long as I get it... I am interested in a 'free' support group...but in ABQ....I think it should be centralized..I live in metro ABQ...

My pc called...I am anemic with count of 33...:eek:about 2 wks ago it was 35...:unsure:he was a bit concerned..gave me iron pills to take...I took them...after a few days...i bursted out in a rash/rashes...:glare:my legs, arms...I just itched..and scratched...lol...he gave me some more tests...they came out normal ...so it was great I thought...got the poop test....normal...every one is normal..than took one last Thursday....33...my count went down...even taking the iron pills....so he told me to stop them after I told him I got a rash...I did...he wants me to have an endoscope....what he thinks I am bleeding inside somewhere...I don't feel bad...I do take byetta....which byetta gives a slight dull pain on upper abdomen...when I don't take it...goes away...last night I just freaked out...:omg_smile:my mind thought of every deadly illness...even athletes feet lol...I live in NM..so I am used to eating the hottest chili ever...I got a stomach of iron I thought...I am a very active 56 year old woman...I work in carpentary..I know my business...:thumbup:I am freaking out....:scared2:am I not gonna be banded?...:thumbup::sad_smile:has anyone gone through this or similiar?...Please email me ...I sure can use all the prayers and support....I do got a banding buddy here...but she just had hers done..and needs to rest and recoup now.....I am not a sad woman...I am 99.9% happy and enjoying life woman...I am feeling like...ok...so this is the start of depression lol...j/k...I will survive...thanks God Bless!

I am new at this...just got my test overwith....all came back great....a bit anemic but was prescribed iron...just 2 pts under ...i re took the blood work and everything came out great....my pc has not cleared me...but i remember him saying he had 30 days...to respond/tests...this is driving me nuts....I called my pc's office..2x...haven't heard nothing from him...I have been searching the gastric bypass online...it scares the heck out of me....has anyone had the gb done in NM?...I am leaning forward the lap band...seems like it anything goes wrong at least it can be reversed.....I sure hope this post goes through....:thumbup:
