  1. Good job!!!! Enjoy yourself and your new wardrobe. Mimi
  2. YAY, Pickles!!!!!! Mimi
  3. WOW, BB, that is a whole lot of $$. Why don't you contact Dr Schulman and see what his rates are. Mimi
  4. Many of us have been under the impression active duty ppl can't be banded, but you are. Did you get any flack from your superiors? Mimi
  5. OK, it is noon on Wednesday, fill us in on what is going on....I am hoping for the best for you. Mimi
  6. By all means keep your appointment. I'll bet they will understand. Best wishes, Mimi
  7. A reason to pick the band is that you will have no malabsorption syndrome from having your insides changed around. Another is that the LB loss is slower and gives you time to develop new eating habits. Head hunger is an issue either way and is something you will struggle with, perhaps forever. Good luck making your decision. Mimi
  8. Jennifur, if smart lipo works I say go for it....we have all come to far to get trapped in the old skin suit. Thanks, Suzie, I will def keep you all informed. I don't know how to take my own pictures but will take my camera with me to the PS and see if they will take them for me. Mimi
  9. Suzi, it is amazing the things that tickle us!!! I just cooked a healthy and delicious lunch/dinner and am pumped....I have never cooked lamb chops before and they were delicious. I say they because I ate 2, can you tell I need a fill, LOL??? I went to the PS this morning and firmed up dates for arms, boob lift, and TT. He is going to do the arms and breast lift together and that way, If I am unhappy with the results I can get implants when I get my TT 2 months later. I hate to say I am excited to get cut on, but I am!!! Mimi
  10. There are several Tricare Threads including one with Tricare standards. I was 5'0 and 211 and had arthritis and hypertension and qualified. You are going to be close if you don't quite make it. Good luck. Mimi
  11. Barbee, I mentioned this on another thread, but has anyone ever told you to take your iron with vit C? Either pill, juice, or fruit? It REALLY helps it get absorbed. Mimi
  12. Mini, I am so happy it is a hematoma and not a seroma, yippee!!! Loved your picture and I don't think you have to worry about dog ears the way he dipped down the ends. Mimi
  13. Potatie, I called around to healthcare rental places to find an electric recliner to rent and got lucky with my first call. It is less that $200 for a month and almost that for a week. I am so short , when I DID have a recliner I couldn't really use it because I couldn't reach the levers! The one I am going to rent has a type of ejection seat, so that thrills me, but hope I don't need a parachute, LOL!!! Mimi
  14. Sometimes ppl are not told to take their iron with vitamin C. It is absorbed better. Maybe this hint will help you? Best wishes. Mimi
  15. I would like to join, also, as I feel thread homeless, LOL!!!! I have enjoyed everyones's posts. I was extremely bummed about Patrick Swayze's passing. Very sad. Mimi
  16. Carriejess all I can say is WOW and congratulations!!!! Mimi
  17. Congratulations and best wishes. Mimi
  18. Congratulations, Catherine, you are awesome and a great role model. I loved your NSVs. Mimi
  19. Mini, I hope you are not suffering, it looks painful. Thank you for posting the pictures. Mimi
  20. Good idea to call, and good luck getting through to a real person. Mimi
  21. Mini, I am with you on the no thongs, LOL, I can't even stand an accidental wedgie!!!! I hope your oma gets better really soon. Mimi
  22. I think Dr Antonetti is booked way farther away than that, but you can hope for a cancellation. It took me 6 weeks after insurance approval to get a surgery date. Mimi
  23. Yes, I remember those feelings, too, and it is a good motivator to stick to the program. It is good to chat with you. Mimi
  24. It sounds like highway robbery to me. I have heard of these program fees before and think that amount of money is crap. There are other fine surgeons out there who charge nothing extra or just a few hundred. Please keep your options open and check out a few more places. Mimi
