I am getting my first fill tomorrow and I am a little nervous. I am in the military and I was posted for 3 months out of country and it was very difficult to maintain the diet as I had very little control over what was served. I am really excited to finally get on track! I am down 30 pounds from my pre-op weight and ready to kick it into hyperdrive!

Don't be too nervous, it's so quick and simple, you'll be surprised. My response after cmopleting my first fill (which took all of 20 seconds) was "seriously, that's it?".

Many of us have been under the impression active duty ppl can't be banded, but you are. Did you get any flack from your superiors?
