  1. Allie, you are a true testimonial to the wonders of PS and self esteem. I am a little worried that at 4 weeks you are still tired because that is when I have to go back to work. Keep partying, G/F!!!!! Mimi
  2. Lavender, I love your name and scent!!!! That was smart to get rid of temptation with your daughter's help!!! I ate almost a whole big bag of chips I bought for company, just because it was there!!! The only thing I can suggest is to up your exercise to increase your metabolism......sorry for all your reflux problems, that stinks. Best wishes, Mimi
  3. H, when can you go for a slight fill? Finding that elusive sweet spot can be a full time job!!!!! Mimi
  4. I decided not to get implants so on Jan 4, 10 I will have my arms done and my boobs put back up north a ways!!!! The closer it gets the more nervous I get. Glad your unfill was just right. Mimi
  5. You are incredible to be out partying less than 2 weeks post op. You are hot and gorgeous!!!!! Mimi
  6. Hi, Kim, welcome to LBT. To get a real handle on your calorie intake it is best to journal daily. Taking a brisk walk almost every day will stimulate your metabolism. I understand because I have the metabolism of a slug and counting calories in and exercise out is the only way I made it to goal with no significant plateaus. Best wishes.
  7. I hope if you are short on your quantity that they don't charge you for the fill adjustment. Mimi
  8. That appt delay problem is so aggravating and the more cases they have the longer the wait is. Can you switch to another practice? I am thinking of doing that, problem is, there is only one other practice in town that does bands and follow up appts. Best wishes, Mimi
  9. Allie, I hope my breasts turn out half as good as yours. I dreamed about the surgery last night and it was horrible. They looked like they belonged on 2 different ppl. OY!!!!!!! Mimi
  10. Hmarko, I did get an unfill and it is better. They took a bit too much but it is always a guessing game. It is so nice not to be barfing but the downside is that I ate a bag of chips, just because they were there!!!!! Oh, well, back on the wagon today!!! Thank you so much for checking on me. Mimi
  11. Happy Birthday, indeed, and many more with your hot new bod!!!! Mimi
  12. I take several meds, large and small and they just make me feel full until they dissolve enough in the pouch to pass through into the main stomach. I have pretty good restriction so it takes a while for meds to pass. I take chewable vitamins and calcium and sometimes cut my tylenol into smaller pieces so they will pass faster. The pouch opening can be as small as the eraser on a pencil. Some digestion/melting does take place in the pouch. Mimi
  13. Wow, Greytz, you didn't post that you were having probs, maybe because you took action so quickly? I am glad you got taken care of and are good. I had to have an unfill this week, too, but they took too much and now I can eat ANYTHING and can't get an appointment for 4 weeks because of the holidays and then my plastic surgery!!!! Mimi
  14. Good advice. I am glad your situation got resolved and you are doing well. Mimi
  15. WOW, what a bummer. Does WWW.Fillcentersusa.com have a fillcenter near you? Mimi
  16. Librarychick, I hope I don't sound rude, but surely you did research before getting the lapband. It will be weeks before you get to restriction and have a decrease in appetite and get full faster. The lapband does not "take away" hunger completely. Best wishes, Mimi
  17. Walmart has a decent RTD fairly low cal protein drink...EAS Advantage. It has less calories and fat than Adkins RTD and is very good. It is $4.98 for 4 boxes. Mimi
  18. Allie, I am so happy you are doing so well and all the stitches are out. That is wonderful. You sure have turned into a happy party girl!!!! Your thigh lift plans sound very well thought out, that is excellent that your DD can help. Mimi
  19. Where are you from....sounds like you have MY doc. They punish us by taking all the saline when .5 or .25 would work. Sometimes I hate my doc. Then you play heck trying to not gain wt and get refilled. I feel your pain and angst. Best wishes, Mimi
  20. CA, how is your tickle doing? Did it develop into an illness? Mimi
  21. Yay, Fanny, way to GO!!!!!!! I am glad your swelling is easing. Mimi
  22. I don't get their thinking....the breathing passage and the swallowing passage are different!!!! Mimi
  23. Kate, I am delighted you are doing so well and 2 of the drains are gone!!! Keep healing...I like the idea of you taking the train better than driving!!!!. Allie, it sounds like you are doing great, too. You are both very inspirational!!!! Mimi
  24. Yay, congratulations on your non event, LOL!!!!!! I am happy for you, what a scare!!!! Mimi
  25. I can't imagine GREAT hospital food, so that is wonderful!!! I hope you are up for the drive, I wish you the best!!!!! Mimi
