To Fill or not to Fill
Good luck with your decision, talk it through with your fill person. Better to be a little under than over filled....that is miserable. I am at 6cc in the same band and can only eat a little bit of hard protein at a time. Of course slider food goes down easy all the time, LOL!!!! Mimi

It's Allie's turn for plastics!

Re: "Inverted T" abdominoplasty
I believe your procedure is also referred to as an anchor incision and Shalee04 had it, I think, and is thrilled with the results. She posted that the central incision basically disappeared and she has a great figure. I can see where that procedure would give an hourglass figure compared to a plain TT. Please keep posting about your journey. Mimi

Has anyone had a panni and breast reduction at the same time?
Marieze, I hust had my breasts reduced and put back where they belong and my upper arms reduced. I will have my Tummy Tuck (TT) in March. I can't imagine the pain/discomfort of having all done at once, but maybe it is my arm reduction that is giving me the most trouble and not my chest. I had a wonderful healper. If you have a great helper and good pain meds you can do it. It does save a lot of money to have them done at the same time. Many ppl have even more work done at one time and do fine. Best wishes. Fanny Moves to Phase Two
Fannie, you are a hoot!!! I am sorry for your setbacks, I hope you heal quickly and in the manner you want. I am glad you posted about your breasts not being as perky, so I know to expect that. Did you get saline or silicone implants? I am glad you are able to go back to work. Mimi

Kate's "The Works" special
Kate, I am glad your interventions have helped you feel better and sleep better. All I had done was my arms and bewbs and it knocked me on my butt, a LBL would really have taken me over the top. You are a brave woman. My breasts have lost some of their initial perkiness but I still love them and am glad I had it done. My armpits have separated some and will take longer to heal. I hope I can go back to work next week. I so thank you for sharing your ups and downs as it makes me know I am experiencing some normal things and makes me not worry as much. Take care, sweetie, and keep healing. Mimi

Do you have to be at goal before consult with the PS?
My PS wanted my wt stable for "a few months" but many don't insist on 6 months. I think now would be a great time for your consult. I went several months before goal and it helped me know what I wanted done and the order it would be done as well as the costs. It also gave me incentive to get to goal. Congratulations on your very excellent weight loss. You have done so well. Please let us know as your plans firm up. Mimi

down 2 more pounds
Congratulations, SG, on your 2 pound wt loss. You may gain a half pound when you go back on solids, but it should be temporary. Continued success, Mimi

I agree, you absolutely must call your surgeon's office. You can't live like that for the weekend. If no answer the ER is the place to go. Good luck. Mimi

bandster hell?
It is any time between being banded and finally arriving at restriction, a time when the band is not yet doing its job to control hunger and you are very hungry. Mimi

It's Allie's turn for plastics!
Are you better, Allie? Mimi

Tricare, Triwest???

It's Allie's turn for plastics!
Allie, I am sorry you caught kid krud and wish you a speedy recovery for your next PS. That is so cool that you can pick up a craft and make practical things!!! Keep those hands busy. Mimi

No restriction whatsoever!
I gained about 10-12 pounds between surgery and my 2nd fill. It stands to reason if we go off the pre-op diet and have no restriction we are going to eat as usual. It is often referred to as Bandster Hell. You have lots of time to lose wt, so relax and just do the best you can. Your doc has seen the pattern before many times, I am sure, so don't put off going for your fill just because you gained. Good luck, Mimi

It's Allie's turn for plastics!
Allie, I am sorry about your nips not having feeling. I hope it returns as the weeks go by. I am so in sync with you about being 300 pounds w/o the band. I have had no restriction for 3 wks and don't have an appt til 1/14 and have already gained 11 pounds. Luckily I have no desire to cook, LOL. Best wishes, Mimi
