This is my first visit to the website. I have been over weight since having my daughter 13 years ago. My weight has climbed and climbed and I have finally decided to do something for myself. I am scheduled for my first appointment September 30, 2009, and I am really nervous. The Surgical Coordinator said I need to decide what type of band I want, the Lap Band or the Realize band. I am nervous about this decision, but I am sure that with prayer and research, I can make the right decisions.
