  1. JJ, this is a difficult time of year to get an appt so don't be too disappointed if they can't get you in right away. Yet another reason to call first thing for an appt. Good luck. I got an unfill today and am not able to get back in til Jan 14th, so I am worried about gaining over the holidays. Yet it will be nice to not PB if I over indulge a little!!!! Gotta crank up the exercise!!!!! Mimi
  2. As long as you are losing, I think why add another step. If you stop losing you may want to weigh and measure and count calories. Mimi
  3. What you are feeling is normal and fairly common. You will feel better soon. I am sorry your sis isn't more supportive. Best wishes and congratulations on your 15 pound wt loss. Mimi
  4. Allie, I loved your post and look forward to pictures. It is wonderful that your girls were so proud of you and wanted to show you off. Mimi
  5. Best of luck with your surgery....are you going low profile port? I need the same surgery you are having but will wait until after my TT surgery. I hate all the hard scar tissue but worry it will come back. Has your doc addressed that issue? Mimi
  6. Xemi, you are a hoot, he probably thought you are a boob woman. Those scars are going to be there a while so the sooner he "sees" them the better!!!!! Good luck, Mimi
  7. Oh, Mellie, if anyone slapped at you there are a bunch of us that would stick up for you. You absolutely did the right thing getting an unfill. As you found out being overfilled is a miserable way to live and can result in wt gain as youand I and others know first hand. I was already tight and getting dehydrated and then got a diagnosis of gout this morning and had to go for a 1.2cc unfill so I could take the meds w/o hurting my pouch. It has been 4 hours since I barfed and that is a wonderful feeling. Of course now I have to fight gaining wt but at least I won't be barfing for Christmas get togethers. Best of Luck, Mimi
  8. Congratulation on reaching your great goal and Happy Holidays. Best wishes, Mimi
  9. Pookie, I am sorry that you have an ultraconservative fill doc. I wouldn't expect you to feel restriction til 5 or 6 cc. Can you go in sooner for more? My doc's are ultraconservative and I have been working on getting the right fill for a year now. Best wishes, Mimi
  10. Kate, why so far to have your drains out? Is that where your doc it? Might be a silly question, if so, I apologize. Mimi
  11. Fanny, it is good you have an appt so soon so you can ask about the unevenness. I hope he has a good answer, but one of his answers will be let's wait and see!!!! I hope you are otherwise improving. Mimi
  12. CB, that is wonderful, keep up the good work. Mimi
  13. Fanny, I am sorry you are so uncomfortable, I hope the doctor can do something about the swelling. Mimi
  14. Nikki, best wishes for a successful new life. Mimi
  15. Congratulations, Nicole. Read LBT daily and your questions will be answered. Mimi
  16. You are fortunate that your doc will do fills this soon. My practice made me wait 7 weeks post op then 6-7 weeks between fills. Long drawn out road to restriction. You are losing well, congratulations. Mimi
  17. Tracy, good luck and know you aren't alone. All the goodies and parties and family gatherings scare me!!!! Mimi
  18. Shalee, I just realized when I reread your post that you are succeeding at maintenance with no restriction....way to go, but what up with your band? Mimi
  19. I think .25 would be good, the 0.5 might be too much. I hope you get what you need!!!! Best wishes, Mimi
  20. It sounds like you are doing really great, Kate, and I hope you enjoy driving the cart at the store, LOL. Mimi
  21. Kelin, I am so with you. I know how to gain and I know how to lose but I don't know how to maintain. I am scared!!! I hope you are doing well at maintenance. Maryrose, the closer you get to goal the harder it is to lose, don't worry about how long it takes, because the time will pass no matter what you do. Jachut....LOL your arse wobbling!!!!! Mimi
  22. Renee, I agree with all the other posters so I mainly wanted to comfort you and say hang in there you are doing well and next week even better. Best wishes, Mimi
  23. You have no restriction so everything is slider food, LOL. Someday it may cause you an issue but that is several fills in the future. Enjoy as long as you can, I think!!!! Congratulations on losing wt now w/o restriction. Mimi
  24. I missed a few minutes of the show and apparantly that includes the $1000 a pound. WOW, what incentive!!!! Lucky girl. Mimi
