  1. Hahahahahaha, they will fade out by a couple of weeks, I should think. I don't exactly remember!!!! Mimi
  2. You are going to be so happy for a long time with your new chest. Even with my scars I still pause to admire "the girls" every time I pass a mirror!!!! Thank you for posting your pictures. Mimi
  3. Wow, you are all doing great and looking wonderful...congratulations! Mimi
  4. All I can say is WOW, bad luck. How much is the repair going to cost?
  5. Be proud of yourself and what you have accomplished....it SHOWS!!!!! Mimi
  6. Hi, Cynthia...it took me about 14 months to get down to where I am. I had several setbacks where I would have to get total unfills and would gain 10-15 pounds while unrestricted. Best wishes, Mimi
  7. Yes, don't be scared....I gained 15 pounds. My doc wasn't happy but I reminded him just why I got the band and it was useless without fills and I was HUNGRY, LOL!!!! Best wishes, Mimi
  8. YAY, Cynthia, keep on with the great attitude and good work. Mimi
  9. I like both Myoplex Lite and the EAS Advantage....I like the Advantage a little better. Since you asked about those 2 brands I will stick with my opinion of them. Walmart always has both of them, and maybe the powder, too. I didn't know Target was cheap, I will check them out!!! Mimi
  10. No, it doesn't mean your band is infected. It is probably just a localized reaction/infection where the port is. Good luck and let us know how it goes. Mimi
  11. Oh, man, do I understand what you are going through!!!! I think you should ask for a fill of half the amount they took out, and go from there. I do wish you the best as I am in the same situation!!!! Mimi
  12. I had to do it, too, and while it was a pain in the butt because I hate forms, it was OK. Mimi
  13. If your doctor will do tiny unfills, I think you should get one, like .1 or .2cc. I was as tight as you describe and the first time I got stuck my stomach swelled shut and I ended up with a complete unfill. I hope you have a wonderful cruise!!! Mimi
  14. I am so sorry for all you have gone through, physically and financially. I hope you heal quickly and get back on your feet fast. Mimi
  15. You will do fine.....occupy yourself by taking preop pictures and posting them!!! It has been 5 wks and I still stroke my flat belly in awe!!!! Best wishes, Mimi
  16. Well, mine tightened a week after my fill and surprised the heck out of me because I thought I had a leak. I have read on here that stress can make your stomach swell, so maybe the stress of upcoming surgery made it swell. Good luck on Thursday. Mimi
  17. I had my arms and boobies done in January and my TT done in March. I had no swelling issues in January but had to go for a small unfill in March (.3cc) because of swelling. I also gained 10 pounds and am going today to try and get my fill back. I was shutting down completely, though or I wouldn't have gone for an unfill. Best wishes and congratulations. Could you post pictures and keep adding to your post as your journey continues? Send me a friend request and you can access my PS album. Mimi
  18. It was at least 2 weeks that I used a button up flannel shirt. 6 wks for arm compression garment is a long time. By then I had almost forgotten I had surgery!!! My mud flaps weren't because of surgery...if you don't have them now there is no reason to have them post op. Mimi
  19. I was left with those mud flaps under my arms at the sdes of my breasts and I hate them, they really upset me. 58 year old skin does not have the elasticity of younger skin and if he cut off the flaps I wouldn't be able to raise my arms!!!! They bulge over my bra and get in the way of my arms moving!!!! Mimi
  20. It was about 3 weeks, Sue. I had to wear the compression garment for 2.5 wks, if I remember correctly. Mimi
  21. Special, I downsized, too, and didn't get implants. I am a 34C (barely!!) and love being small. They used to get in the way and laid on my belly when I sat down....not a pretty sight. I didn't really have much limits specified, just to take it easy for a few weeks. My stronger limits were because I had my arms trimmed down and they took a while to heal to the point of not worrying that the incision would separate. Mimi
  22. Well, Megs, you sure do put everything into doing a job!!! I am glad you have a great doctor and everything went well. May I ask where the port is? I am going to get mine moved and replaced with a low profile, but don't know where to put it. Mimi
  23. I do wish you luck!!! I hope you enjoy the boot camp style and it will surely burn lots of calories!!!! Mimi
  24. I don't think you can make a mistake in choosing which band, they are very similar in how they work and I haven't read any posts here that sway me either way. I had to make the same decision as you and I just picked arbitrarily. Some ppl (like me) lay down scar tissue and the flatter port may help. Mine sticks out like a golf ball and I am going to have it moved and changed to a smaller port. Good luck in your decision making. Mimi
  25. YAY, Whillow!!!! Keep up the good work, you are almost halfway to goal!! Mimi
