  1. Niki, I am sorry for your setbacks. I hope you are doing better this morning. My thoughts and prayers will be with you often, today. Mimi
  2. Hey, girl, I am doing great!!!! I have come to terms with my less than spectacular results and the drain came out yesterday. I am in a one piece body briefer and am surprisingly comfortable in it. I tried one of the panty girdles with a high waist but it kept rolling down. My PS doesn't like heavy restriction so these body briefer/onesies are great. I am going to post some new pictures tonight, my spinal curvature is evident in the way I stand, but other than that I think you can see a little progress in healing. Thanks for checking on me, Mimi
  3. Niki, I had my drain out today, did yours come out? It felt really strange and still feels like it is there!!! I would love to get my thighs done but I would have to find another PS because my PS doesn't do thighs. You are doing sooooo great!!! Mimi
  4. I have had more that 25 fills and unfill, none with fluoro and never had a problem. Good luck. Mimi
  5. All good questions, Mom. I bought a $30 wedge pillow at Bed, Bath, and Beyond and took it back unused. Other posters have used them and recommend them. My surgery was milder than many because I had no muscle suturing so not much pain or discomfort. I wore and wear snap front smocks but any nighty would work because the drains were pinned to the binder. I had saved some granny panties that were big enough to go over the binder. My PS didn't want the binder real tight and only around the belly, didn't care about the midriff. I am going to have to have a port relocation surgery because it now sticks out like a golf ball, LOL, and my PS wouldn't touch it. I will post more pictures Monday or Tuesday after the drain comes out. Best wishes. Mimi
  6. I am sorry you over did it, OHM. Get better fast. Glad all the cling ons have fallen off!!! Mimi
  7. I am almost 59 and have had my arms, breasts and tummy done since January. I am glad to have the excess skin gone, even if I am not hot hot hot. It is strange to have so many scars, but the skin being gone is a wonderful thing. Best wishes on your decision making. Mimi
  8. Renee, I didn't wait that long and I don't think it is necessary. I was 30 pounds out for my first consult at the PS and it spurred me on to lose more and workout harder. I wish you the best. Mimi
  9. On my home page is a closed album so send me a friend request and you can see my less than beautiful pictures!!! Mimi
  10. I had a tiny bit taken out, just in case (0.2ml) and I am glad I did. I barfed yesterday and my band shut right down. I, too, can go in anytime and get it put back. If you don't have a sensitive band you will probably be OK without an unfill. Good luck. Mimi
  11. I did want my muscles tightened and my port moved, but the PS wouldn't do the port and I didn't know he wouldn't do the muscles. I admit I am disappointed. But my recovery is fast, LOL, so I guess it works out. I am going to post 3 day post op pictures. Not much change. Mimi
  12. Well, to my disappointment he wouldn't take the drain out. Maybe Monday when I go back for follow up. I think I had unrealistic expectations as to the outcome and I wanted instant healing. Golly am I impatient!!! Mimi
  13. Hi, ppl!!! I have my post op appt today and hope he takes the drain out. The compression garment is to big and really isn't compressing me. I peed out just about all my excess fluid so have minimal swelling. I have only taken about 5 pain pills altogether, so you can see I am not having much pain. I was able to lie on my side last night...it is still a little ouchy over the hips. Thanks for asking!!! Mimi
  14. I believe it is at least 6 weeks if you have the full TT with muscle repair. I had a TT yesterday w/o muscle repair and it sys no heavy lifting for 6-8 weeks. Mimi
  15. NN, Thanks for the great pctures. You look marvelous!!!!! Mimi
  16. MyTT yesterday lost me 2.7 pounds of skin and some fat. I thought it would be a lot more!!! Mimi
  17. Sue, I think it is because he used a lot of Marcaine nummer and he didn't touch the muscles! Thanks for the good wishes, I appreciate it. Mimi
  18. LOL, I had an unfill, that is the only reason I could eat the fast food. Haven't had fast food in years!!!! Doc said 2.7 pounds of skin was removed!!! He didn't do more to the muscles because of the port being in the way, but said my muscles were in OK shape, which made me know I will have to hit the situps and crunches when healing permits!!!! Thanks, Sue!!! Mimi
  19. You are doing a fine job, congratulations!!!! Mimi
  20. I already posted 3 pictures in my album!!! I am in very little discomfort and would do it again in a heartbeat. I think I am still numb from the lidocaine bath or injections. I have a bit of a sore throat from the breathing tube. I am very happy I rented the electric recliner chair, it has come in very handy. I have already eaten a few french fries and part of a Hardee's Cheesegurger. Also have had half a protein shot for health and healing reasons. Thanks for your good wishes and encouragement. Mimi
  21. Well I had my TT this morning and am doing fine. My muscles did not get tightened so my recovery time will be shorter, I think. I still have a Scopolamine patch on, and it is doing well to prevent nausea. No foley catheter inserted, so no discomfort down there!!!! I have an abdominal binder on, but not tight, barely there, in fact. One drain present but will have it for 1-2 weeks. I hope I am pleased with the final results as the doctor was not aggressive with my midriff and I still have some of the wrinkling I had pre-op. Mimi
  22. You need to contact your doc immediately. You should not be that weak 2 weeks out. That isn't much protein, either. Please call this morning.!!! Mimi
  23. Ohm, thank you for bringing back your thread. It was nice to read your journey. I posted new 2 month post op arm reduction pictures if you want to check them out. Congratulations on all your accomplishments, Mimi
  24. Do you make chili in your neck of the woods? If you do a search for vegetarian chili, or meatless chili you will get some good suggestions. I wish you luck, oh excuse me, I must go reheat my filet mignon leftover from yesterday, LOL!!!! Mimi
  25. I am super glad you are going to get insurance, congratulations!!! It sounds to me like you have a kink in your tubing. I hope you don't. Mimi
