I’m having my One week post op visit today. Everything has been going great I only have a strange feeling when swallowing and it is tough to get all the fluids in I’m only getting 40-50oz a day and I get tired easily but I get to go to full liquids today. I’m down 60lbs since my first visit in April 5 and 11 of those pounds have been since surgery.

I teach so my first couple of days are meetings and I will not have students until Thursday so keeping my fingers crossed I’m good to go by then. I then all my moving and physical getting ready before surgery so I hope it all works out

I’m 3 days post op still have some gas pain. More soreness than pain and nauseous. Still have only drank water but only getting about 24oz in a day getting nauseous with ever sip but I go to work Monday so I hope I keep feeling better every day.

Great Job Kevin! Thanks for your updates I go in July 27th and it is good to hear positive updates from a week out. The closer it gets the more nervous I get. Keep up the good work and what app are you using to keep up your intake?

I was hoping I was not the only one! I have been looking into ways to have a panniculectomy covered by insurance. I know I need focus on the here and now of VSG and losing the weight first but sometimes it's tough not to plan for later. I'm on day 4 of 14 of the pre-op "liver shrink" diet the first couple days were hard today has seemed easier so far.
