  1. Good morning I am new to this site so I would like to introduce myself. I had my lap band put in on June 17, 2008 and I will see my Dr. for the first time since surgrery August 7th. I have lost 23 lbs. since the surgrery but I am at a stand still. I am not hungry but I have a lot of emotional eating issues. I am fighting the desire to eat more although I am not hungry. I hope I can connect with some others who have this problem and we can talk about it. My Super Ego is trying to take over my life and I need some friends to help me fight. Berkeley_Barb Do you want the truth or do you just want to stop hurting?
