  2. Hi! I just had my surgery a couple days ago. Nervous is normal I think but it's mostly just tender when it's over. As for protein shakes, I happen to like the chocolate premier protein shakes. But if you struggle with the consistency of the shakes then maybe try Isopure? You can find it on Amazon, and they have a water soluble protein powder that makes a sort of Gatorade kind of drink. I like the citrus flavor. I find that easier to get down than the thicker shakes. Hope that helps!!
  3. Hi there! My pre op diet still allowed vegetables and I found that pickles and olives were my new best friends! Just had my gastric bypass surgery 3/30 and I'm still recovering. Hope this helps you!
