  1. I am also seriously considering this. I need to find a doctor. Do I have to lose weight BEFORE getting this done? Does each doctor have different criteria and procedures for this. I too am sick of feeling fat and ugly and unmotivated. I'm thinking this may be the boost I need also. I know it is not a magic cure though and will still take time and effort on my part. I just want to get going on it though before I gain MORE! Any help will be appreciated. I have a folder full of information on it all and am in the process of reading it.
  2. I'm new to this forum and to the whole lap band world. I have just recently done research and made the decision to get the surgery done and get healthy. I am in the process of finding the right doctor and place to do this. Any help, advice, suggestions, and comments would be appreciated! I am 60 years old, obese and have numerous health issues, most of which I know would be at least partially relieved by losing weight. Nothing else seems to work for me anymore. I lost 100 pounds 5-6 years ago, and have since gained most of it back. Need to lose a total of about 150 pounds or more. so..... HELP!!! I'm glad to have found this forum. Looking forward to hearing from some of you.
