  1. It's not head hunger for me lol. I'm at work staying busy and my stomach is growling ?‍♀️ I was doing ok but the last 4 days or so the hunger is getting worse. How many protein shakes did y'all drink in the liquid stage?
  2. So after your sleeve surgery, how soon did you start getting hungry. Like stomach growling and just feeling like your starving. I'm surprised at 2 weeks I can't seem to get that full feeling. I'm still on liquid shakes. I start eating soft food this weekend. Im confused at all the hunger im feeling this early.
  3. I'm 2 weeks post-op and I was told to walk 30 mins a day and do light weights or resistant bands. I'm walking 2.5 miles in 40 minutes. Slow and study at this point for me.
  4. I've never had hummus. Honestly I don't know what it is or how you eat it lol
  5. I was hoping my taste buds would change after surgery but so far they haven't. ?
  6. This is very helpful info. But oh my, creamy peanut butter ?. I love peanut butter, I could eat it all day long. So this might not be good for me lol.
  7. I like tuna but I'm not a fan of fish. Guess I'll find out if that changes for me soon.
  8. I'm such a picky eater. This stage is going to be hard for me. I wasn't sure if we could have ground turkey at the soft stage. I'm thinking that's around 5 weeks for me.
  9. I had all the high nerves weeks abs days before surgery. But the morning of my surgery. I wasn't scared or nervous at all. I was completely relaxed.
  10. I'm just a few days away from getting to finally eat food, ?. So what do y'all recommend? I know I can have scrambled eggs, can tuna, can chicken and refried beans. I'm so over this liquid diet and I'm ready to plan a meal lol. Also, right now I can drink my weight in liquids. Will eating be different? Will I get fuller faster? I'm just trying to get a idea of how I'm might feel after actually eating.
  11. They ended up keeping me ??‍♀️ Not sure why unless it's because of my hernia repair. I would have been ok to go home. Because they really didn't give me any pain meds and my husband helped me in the hospital with everything.
  12. I was just curious at what others did. Everyone has different rules. So I was wondering if anyone was told it was ok to bathe early then 2 weeks. But it's looking like my surgeon rule isn't as long as y'all's.
  13. Yes. That's why I ask what others did. My incisions are glued and the glue is slowly coming off. My surgeon said they are healing perfectly. I'm seriously thinking about giving it a try lol
  14. I'm 10 days post op and my stomach is talking to me a lot now. I can't even have veggies or jello yet. Im just soooo hungry lol
  15. Oh wow. My book says 2 week for tub and pool. I was just hoping to cheat on a few day lol. I'm not sure I could go a month. ?
  16. So for those that love to soak in a bathtub. How soon after surgery did you get in the tub for a long soak? It's been 10days and im really wanting to take a bath instead of showing.
  17. I was at my first follow up appointment and told my dr about the gas pains still in my shoulders and he told me it wasn't gas pains. He thinks mine is from my hernia repair. So just FYI sometimes it's not gas pains. ??‍♀️
  18. Ok thank. I was thinking the same thing. But I want to ask here first.
  19. I do not have bandages or strips over my incisions. They used that glue that's all. It is just blood and I do mean just a tiny bit.
  20. Ok I'm one post op and I just noticed one of my incisions is bleeding just a tiny little bit. It looked different from the rest. So I touched it with a tissue and there was a tiny bit of blood. Should I be concerned. I have a follow up this week on Thursday. I just didn't want to call the dr and be a worry wart.
  21. I've been thinking the same thing
  22. I did this surgery not only for WL but to keep from having to go on bp meds and hopefully lower my blood sugar. I know high bp is just genetic. That might be my case. If so at least I'll be smaller lol
  23. How long did it take for y'all to see the change to your bp? I wasn't on meds before surgery but I as given some the night of my surgery because it was to high. My bp is still on the high side a week after surgery. My blood sugar still hasn't gone down either. But my surgeon wanted me to go off my metformin. So I did??‍♀️
