  1. I like salt too. Maybe salt doesn't exactly describe the taste. It's kinda hard to explain. I wasn't able to get the premier clear protein. I didn't want to buy a case ??‍♀️ Maybe be the premier is the one I should have gotten.
  2. Ok thanks. I'm definitely not struggling to get in my fluids ?‍♀️ But I am sipping all day long.
  3. I know we are supposed to get 64oz or more if fluids. But I feel like I'm either drinking fluids or eating popsicles all day long. Is this normal? Am I stretching my stomach out? Seems like I'm drinking a lot of water.
  4. Yes the powder gets clumpy in hot liquids. I've tried isopure clean liquid drinks, Gatorade protein zero and protein20 in both natural and regular. (One has no sodium and one does). I don't like any of them. I can drink the Gatorade but it takes me all day to drink one ?. It all has a salty taste, kinda reminds me of Pedialyte.
  5. Yes the unflavored still has a taste. It changes the taste of my broths too.
  6. I change up between chicken and beef. I'm having to add protein powder to it because there's not much protein in broth. You can't put the powder in hot broth or water because it Curdles. I wish clear protein didn't have a weird salty taste. Even the no sodium clear liquid has a salty taste.
  7. Only drinking water, and broth. Eating only sugar free popsicles. I've tried the clear protein drinks but I can't finish them at all. The only thing I'm not doing for this stage is getting enough protein. This morning im going to add powder protein to my broth.
  8. Ok one more question. I know you are full with gas and that gas will leave your body. But today I've had horrible bubbling sounds in my gut and diarrhea. Are these sounds coming from my gut. Just gas from surgery trying to escape? What's in the world is going on
  9. I had my surgery in 4/26. I don't regret it. Even through all the pain lol. I do however really miss eating. Being on clear liquids is so hard. Next week I get to add protein shakes. I'm counting down the days ?.
  10. I had my surgery on 4/26. I've been doing ok. But today I have been wanting to eat something. It's like I want to feel food when chewing ??‍♀️ Does this ease up. I'm only on liquids right now. I start protein drinks next week.
  11. Yes. I was self pay so I didn't have to go thru everything insurance requires
  12. My first visit was 3/9/22 and my surgery was 4/26/22
  13. I do have a booklet. I might have over looked it. I will read it again in the morning. This forum has been so helpful for me
  14. I started taking it today. It's to soon to know if it helps.
  15. I was never told any info on this subject. Can we actually take pill at this stage of my post surgery? I've been told to crush my medicine. I think the stool softeners I have are liquid. I do have some MiraLax. I wonder if that is ok to start.
  16. Constipation after gastric sleeve surgery. How many days do you wait until you take something to help correct the problem? What did you do or take. My surgery was on 4/26/22. Any info will be a big help Thanks
  17. I've been wondering what the symptoms are.
  18. I didn't have a drink test.
  19. I had mine the 26th. My surgeon told me I could go home same day. But something changed and he kept me over night. I didn't question it. I'm assuming it's because I had a hernia that was fixed too. I was ok with staying. I was in so much pain. Im glad I didn't have to sit in the car 2 hours going home the same day. A lot f people told me I need to stay for pain management. But they didn't really control my pain in the hospital. They said my pain was from gas and pain medicine didn't help with gas.
  20. My daughter is picking me some up today ?
  21. I live in the country on a farm and my house sits on a hill. So my yard is very uneven and hilly. So right now I'm walk thru my house and I'm doing several laps. The pain is getting a little better. It's not as horrible as it was last night.
  22. I wish I had gotten me some chewable gas x. There are a lot of stuff doctors and staff don't tell you. I wish I had looked into this before my surgery.
  23. I've been walking. Maybe it's just not enough. It's not as bad today as it had been the last couple of days. I actually got some sleep. So hopefully I'm getting a little better.
  24. When did y'all start taking something for the Constipation after surgery. I'm on day 2 post surgery. I'm just curious to how soon I need to start taking something to get things moving.
  25. I was given pill form hydrocodone. I have to crush it and mix it with something to drink. I've had 2 back surgeries and a hysterectomy. I never took pain killers for those. Honestly this pain has surprised me. I usually have a high tolerance for pain. But not this time lol
