I have to admit, I’m getting nervous as these last 3 weeks are dwindling down… last night I was up late reading stories that kinda made me worry lol… some of my worries are: Dehydration from not being able to get the fluids in Pain (although I have a pretty high pain tolerance) Ending up with GERD

Sleeve_me_alone, I agree! It’s crazy all the hoops they make you jump just to deny you! I will say as these last few weeks dwindle closer to “go time”, I’m getting nervous!

Thank you SOOOO much!!!! I have been wanting this surgery for the last 13 years. Twice before I tried with insurance and was denied. So this time, it's self-pay. Im amazed at the difference between trying to go through insurance and self-paying.

Mine is 6 weeks. I have 3 more of the 6 to go. And the only real reason is just because of scheduling. My surgery date is Feb. 23, 2022, it was the next available.

My birthday is the 24th… the scheduler was like, “I wasn’t sure if you’d be wanting to spend your bday in the hospital… I was like, “Are you kidding? It’s my new birthday!” Lol

My surgery is scheduled for Feb 23, 2022. My surgeon told me (when I saw him on Jan 11) to do keto until two days before my surgery and then it will be liquids.

Hi! ? I am new here and just wanted to start somewhere! I am 3 weeks from my surgery! I am excited and a bit nervous! I am having the gastric sleeve. At my consultation on January 11th, I was 287 lbs. Today I am at 272 lbs. Just trying to lose as much weight as I can before the BIG DAY!!!!
