For my surgeon's program I'm on full liquids week 1 and 2, pureed 3 and 4, and soft solids 5 and 6. So no regular diet until week 7.

Mine is Thursday, February 24th and I am feeling the same way!

My surgeon told me to get off of the pill at least a month and a half before surgery due to the increased risk of blood clots and stay off for 3 months after surgery but I was concerned about absorption too so I got an IUD (Liletta). I had tried 2 prior (this one and the Paraguard) and had horrible experiences but this time around with the Liletta is going fine, just a bit of spotting.

Hi all, My RNY is scheduled for 2/24/22 assuming elective surgeries continue (they were postponed in January but my date was not affected and I was able to have my endoscopy this morning). I start the milk diet on Thursday the 10th. From what I understand this is something that is more common in the UK but I am in the US. I am getting excited but nervous!
