  1. whew...glad that weekend is over..my weekend was full of camping and fun in the sun with a large group of about 30 people and you know what that means...food food and more food...oh yeah and then desert and drinking and oh wait...more freaking food. I think I did well. I brought my own snacks and made sure to stay away from most starchy things during meals...if I went for sliders like the chips and dip it was just one or two. Got home and weighed myself this morning and I think I might have even lost a pound or two woohoo!!!

    yup...I've realized it!!! I really am addicted to carbs...I think I was truly in denial but it's quite apparent with each passing day after being banded...I'm an addict!!! As of today I have no food restrictions...this is gonna get interesting...thought before I was going to try to avoid getting a fill but it's obvious i'm gonna need one and soon...to bad I have to wait 2 weeks...this is gonna get ugly!!

    I was so excited to have lost 9lbs a week after surgery buuuut...that when mushies started and ruined it all for me. I weighed myself this morning and it looks like I have gained 4lbs...hoping this is only temporary and the scale takes a turn for the better with a quickness!

    Finally finally finally had a bowel movement...dear lord I thought it would never happen...I think it was because of all the pain meds. hoping they will go back to normal now. Food is going down well...haven't gotten sick and I even had a very small amount of pasta. Don't think I want to get much restriction so I can enjoy the occasional pasta dish. Food portions are great eating off of a salad plate now vs. a big dinner plate and filling the plate.

    I am finding already that lunch is going to be the heardest meal of the day for me. I haven't realized mentally that I don't have acid reflux anymore and things like lettuce, veggies, and a million other things will not give me extreme heartburn. Can't wait for my magic bullet to arrive so I can maybe make some smoothies for my lunch. hmmm...egg salad...that sounds pretty good..although so does Oreo's and milk lol

    Not to bad today...I think the gas is almost gone...thank you jesus :rolleyes2: I have started mushies and enjoyed some scrambled eggs for breakfast...thinking about some cheese sticks for lunch...ooo and dinner some Meatloaf yummy! Still hoping for a bowel movement sometime soon...will call the MD office on monday if nothing has happened by then.
