Hi I’m 4 days post op. Yes, you are thirsty and dry. The iv helps with thirst. I used some dry mouth mouthwash to swish and a spray that I didn’t swallow. My throat did hurt so I did gargle with water a lot right after surgery but I made sure not to swallow anything. Hth good luck with your surgery and congratulations!

Hey everybody! I’m on day 6 of pre op diet it’s a struggle and can’t believe I made it this far. I’m not doing a good job with water though. How is everyone doing in pre op?

Hi owyn plant based protein shake is pretty good. I only tried chocolate. It’s on the sweeter side so I can’t really rock with it. I’m stuck with isopure protein powder for now it’s not punch in your face sweet. It’s whey protein though.

Hi all! This is my first post in here. My sleeve date is Jan 18 as well. Just ending my first day of pre op diet and I can’t believe I made it. I’m terrified of the next 13 days.
