    Intro

thank you girls for your answers!! we're waiting to see the result of this current cycle and if no BFP i'm going to go ahead with the pre-op testing and stop trying until i'm healthier. it's been a really hard decision, thank you for the support. -juno your EDD is the day before my b-day, good luck!!

    Still Thinking about it...

i'm in the same boat as you. i'm not sure if i'm going to go through with the surgery. i have about 6 weeks until my consult appointment and i'm going to try my best to seriously lose this weight on my own. Good luck to you!

    Intro

i posted this in the general intro area before i found this group: hi everyone. i'm new here. my husband and i are both considering the surgery. he has already started his pre-op testing and doesn't have a surgery date yet but hopefully soon. as far as me, i'm really torn. we want to get pregnant and i'm at the point where if i were to get pregnant at my current weight i could be at risk for gestational diabetes as well as other things. besides my weight i'm pretty healthy, normal blood pressure and sugar. my question is this? should i keep trying to lose this weight on my own while trying to get pregnant, or wait the 1 year post op to have our family. we really don't want to wait but not sure what we should do. any thoughts?:confused2:
