  1. I got banded on July 18, 2008 so am only 8 days post-op. Still experience a little soreness around the port incision and having a tough time getting my energy level back to normal. All in all I have to say that it has not been too bad so far. Trying to get enough protein in each day is my biggest challenge and I am NEVER hungry. It's amazing! Won't be going in for a fill until August 23. I think I will be ready by then?
  2. Hello out there! I am a *newbie* -- also getting banded in july- on the 18th! It's my birthday present to myself....yeah, a whole new me! yea!! I live in Louisiana but am going to TX for the surgery. My sister is the dietician/nurse/patient advocate at the center. She works for i-vital in Dallas. best of luck to all of you.......
