  1. I certainly wouldn't be having meat I think I was about 4months out before I had meat and I wouldn't detox neither just take your time and heal

    I never went for over a week and I was on lactalose not nice at all then the next time I went was a week after which I decided to take a little more than I should have and bot did I know about it now I know what dumping is couldn't even make it to the toilet lucky enough I have a very understanding husband thank God hope all goes well when you've been you'll feel so much better

    Your stomach is cut like a small banana and the bit what makes you crave food is removed I had it done in 2010 but didn't lose that much so I opted for the bypass Aug 2021 wish I had done this first they gave me a booklet on about the surgery when I had the sleeve and it stated the bypass is second option if the sleeve doesn't work for you but they don't tell you that it's only because I read about it

    I watch these shows and love to see the outcome but why is it soon as they're on there way to see Dr Now who I think is brilliant do they have to stop at the fast food restaurants within an hour that's the bit what does my head in

    Me too I'm freezing all the time sat here with a long sleeved top and a fleece on and hot brews and the heating on full pour hubby is on fire so I just say well take your jumper off if your hot I'm not freezing for anyone lol

    Go on the recipes on Pintrest theres loads of diffrent meal , breakfast and snack ideas and also protien drinks it's got some really good stuff on just type biatric surgery recipes

    Hi Natty I'm julie I had the sleeve in 2010 on the NHS I have sleep apnea and didn't lose much then decided to go to the doctors to ask for a bypass had to go through 2yrs diet and cbt I had high blood pressure sleep apnea heart failure caused by high blood pressure prolapse disc in my back and artritis in my back and both hips I had my first at Macclesfield in a private hospital and the second at Stoke University hospital they were brilliant couldn't do enough for you , just go and see your doctor and ask about weight loss surgery and could they put you forward, good luck
  10. I now eat salads vegetables I don't drink alcohol or fizzy drinks anymore cant stand the smell of alcohol don't eat much rice or pasta but can eat bread at a minimal I didn't have anything till I was 13 weeks out but feeling good that's the main thing
  11. I had fish in parsley or cheese sauce with soft vegetables tuna mayo in a jacket potato cottage cheese similar to everyone else also have a look on pintrest there's loads of recipes and protien drink on the site just type in Biatric food stages

I had dumping syndrome after Lactalose wasnt very pleasant I can tell you I was constipated really bad and took a little more than I should couldn't even make it to the toilet I've not tried burgers or fries I just stick to what I know agrees with me ie Chicken fish tuna with jacket potato salad veg and quorn , eggs yoghurt

I had the sleeve in 2010 lost about 3 stone put some back on and had the bypassAugust 2031 I'd lost 45 lbs from Aug to Nov not sure what I've lost yet until I go back in March to see the Dietician but feeling good this time , the surgeon told me I'd only lose 3 stone but lost more than that I had to stay in hospital for 4 days because my sats kept dropping and I did three up blood the morning after but once that was up I was fine no regrets , good luck to you all ,

I feel so sorry for you what is struggling Aldi do a yoghurt in a pouch and it is 25grms of protien in it I also drink loads of milk at first I never tried anything till I was told to but couldn't tolerate much but now I'm fine I eat loads of tuna and light mayonnaise there 25 grams of protien in a tin of tuna or cottage cheese hope you all feel better soon x

    I had the sleeve in 2010 and didn't lose that much so asked my doctor about the surgery and I had the bypass in August 2021 I do the bypass again if I had my first choice over againsame as someone else said you can have the sleeve and if it doesn't work see if you can have the bypass but everyone is different read into them both and see what suits you

    Ask which is best for you , I went to cut Thermopylae and there was only one having the bypass in 2010 I had the sleeve had a lot of problems health wise and now had the bypass in August 23rd 2021 this is the best thing I've ever done

    Me too luckily enough I sew so will be taking all my jeans in and up from August 23rd I had mine now nothing fits again doesn't it feel so good well done everyone of us

Oh yes I'm in that club freezing sat here with 2pairs of socks one pair being furry inside and slippers a long sleeved top and a fleece jacket and the heating on I'm terrible have to have loads of hot drinks , I had my op August the 23rd and at the end of November I was 45lbs down haven't been weighed since but I know I've gone smaller

    Well done that's fantastic I'm 5 months out and haven't been weighed since November I was 45lb out then not sure wont have scales in the house so waiting to see Dietician or doctor which ever comes first I know I've lost more because all my clothes are to big lol oh well I'll have to buy some new ones good luck with the skin removal let us know how it goes

    I'm not sure what I've lost not got any scales but doing well and buying smaller clothes because I'm in the UK and had it done on national health I don't see my dietitian till March but I'm feeling really good
