  1. Sleeve on 13th. I’m doing ok. Getting fluids in but struggling with protein as I can only take a couple of spoonfuls of broth, and everything has a new strange taste. Trying protein shake today hoping it will go down ok.

  3. On route to hospital. Surgery planned for tomorrow. Was tough leaving the family but now I’m on my way I’ve settled a bit. Still anxious but ready too.

  5. Hi I’m new but sleeve booked for 13th October in Dublin. Totally terrified- not really about the surgery well A little about the surgery/anaesthetic and after pain but mostly about the future and failing. But not doing it is more scary so onwards towards health! ?. Good luck to everyone doing this we all have our reasons for surgery.
