  2. Had gastric sleeve on 10/1. Doing ok, but not a lot of energy yet. Just graduated to solid foods, with exception of no raw veggies for a few more weeks. I can't always seem to get in enough fluids and the vitamins make me nauseated. Just learned at my follow-up I can take vitamin capsules now so I'm switching over this week. Still having issues with constipation! Hoping that resolves soon so I don't have to keep taking supplements for it.
  3. OMG! I am SO SO sorry!!! I have a covid test on Tuesday, but so far all systems go for surgery on Friday. I just don't know what to say other than I know how I'd feel if they called me right now to cancel....MAD, DISAPPOINTED, SAD...and then I'd probably go eat something like a huge bowl of ice cream!!!!
  4. Hey Evangeline, I'm in in my pre-op diet phase, too. Surgery 10/1. Started pre-op diet on Friday, so today is Day 3. Day 1 went ok, but Day 2 OMG!!!! I woke up with horrific headache, was jittery and had hunger pains most of the day. Better today though and plan to stick it out. I think Tony is right about keeping ourselves distracted so I intend to do that. I get 1 light meal a day in addition to the 2 protein shakes and hope you do, too. Best of luck to you! Let's Keep Our Eyes on That Prize!!!!
