  1. Aw thanks so much! I’m still learning to navigate this site, so I’ll be sure to do some extra searching of forums that speak on this topic. Thank you for your kind works and input.

  3. I had my surgery (VSG) on the 1st of September. I’ve been stuck at the same weight now for 2 weeks. What the heck? I feel like I’m already failing. I get enough protein and water in, I’m constantly active. I struggle with severe depression and anxiety and I’m afraid that stress is still affecting my hormones like they did pre-surgery. A month after my surgery and I’m only down 10 pounds. I feel like a failure, and like I did this for nothing.
  4. Had my surgery the 1st after starting this entire process in January! Still have mixed feelings about the process overall. This 2 week post op diet is literally killing me. Even though I’m drinking protein, I feel so foggy headed and tired. I just want to be able to have food again too. I was also on the 2 week pre-op diet, but they ended up moving my surgery date up by a week, so I only had 6 days to lose the eight before. I stuck strictly to a liquid diet for that, so now I’m technically 3 weeks going on a liquid diet. Last night was the first time I’ve actually felt a hunger pang. Today it’s hitting me too and I’m not sure if it’s psychological because I miss food so much or what.
