  1. Great job! You’ll get there faster than you think. I started out as a big 2X last June. Today, one year later Instill can’t wrap my mind around the fact that I’m wearing size 6. SIX. I can’t even….😳🥰

Down 110 pounds since surgery on June 20. I’ve decided this week to not worry about losing and just maintain. I’ll start losing again next week. I find that I can eat absolutely anything, just not a lot of it. Yes…you CAN have three dessert ( answering the above post), but just one bite of each. Not every day. Not even every other day. But once in a while. I have begun to try and eat more normally in the past four weeks. I get in my protein and nutrition….but I’ve begun to eat pizza and an occasional cookie or maybe tortilla chips with salsa. But I have two bites of pizza, one bite of a cookie, or 11 tortilla chips. I’m eating it all but very very consciously.
  5. -jumped right up on the tailgate of the truck today! -fit in the space between the stairs and the wall in the barn to chase baby chicks. Always had to call the kids before. -RAN from spot to spot at my son’s cross country meet -couldn’t move a heavy piece of furniture that I’ve always moved by using my weight. Just stood there confused until I figured out the why.....then I started grinning.

Had my surgery June 10th. Down 82 pounds as of today. It’s gone fast, and it’s exciting. It’s also amazing how I feel so much smaller and successful until I put on the next size down of appropriately sized clothes. In those smaller clothes, I’m still fat and want it to go FASTER. 🤦🏼‍♀️
  7. I love reading all of these responses. Thanks everyone!! It normalizes my experience with this. 😁😁😊❤️
  8. I am 13 weeks post op and have lost 68 pounds so far (started at 280). Yesterday was the FIRST day that anyone noticed (or actually said anything.) And in the past 24 hours it seems as though everyone is suddenly noticing the weight loss. Just curious as to others’ experiences with how much weight was lost before people began noticing and commenting. And wondering why with that last 2 pounds is it suddenly so much more evident to people????
