  1. I had surgery 8/12. I've been eating sugar free peppermints to help with the bad taste and breath issues. I still haven't been able to start exercising. I don't have energy and I take mutlivitamins, sublingal B12 everyday. My diet is getting slightly better. I had a situation where I drank too soon after eating last week and it was terrible. Horrible pain and everything came back up. I won't do that again.
  2. Hi everyone! My surgery date was 8/12. I went to my first Post op visit today. I lost 22 lbs. My BMI went from 40 to 35. I'm still having issues swallowing my protein shakes. This is probably due to the hiatal hernia repair. Was told to keep trying to get the protein down, and stay hydrated.
  3. Thanks for mentioning the Premier Protein water. I'm definitely going to buy some. I have my first Post op visit with my surgeon on Tuesday. I'm looking forward to see how much I have lost.
  4. Hello everyone! I had my gastric sleeve and (unexpected) hiatal hernia repair on August 12th. Post op hasn't been fun. I should be on purees this week, but I can't swallow much. Just water, broth, and gatorade. I'm praying things will get better. I can now wear my wedding ring. So I'm definitely losing weight.
