I'm down 120#. but i love Dr. Oliak, he's the best. He did my sisters bypass in july 08. I tell everyone to go see dr oliak. You won't find a a better DR...
  3. making good choices, u can only eat such a small quantity u have to eat prot. first. I stay away from most carbs and stick with prot. and vegies. and once in a while i eat frozen yogurt, or 100cal packs of chips or cookies. I think its better to choose these bad snacks a few times a week than eat something that is totaly off the charts.
  4. I was banded 9-1-07 started at 312 and am at 206# today. I am also 50 this year. This was the best thing i have ever done... I wish I would have done it sooner, its not that hard. It's all about choices. I think my support group really helps me stay on track. I follow the rules and I have had such a weight loss I'm sticking with it. U can too. welcome to the loosers club...
