No story, or perhaps more accurately, the same old story.  Open RNY on April 9, 2012.  I lost regularly and reached my low of 164.  That seems heavier than it should, but I have always been one of those people who look 20 pounds lighter than I actually weigh.  At 164, my friends were telling me I looked too thin.  Ha!  I bounced a little. Then a little more.  Always a stress eater, I fell on bad habits while recovering from injuries.  The worst injury was having to repair a giant abdominal incisional hernia that kept getting worse the more I would go to bootcamp classes.  I also injured my wrist (De Quervain's tenosynovitis) and still have a stiff shoulder.  I finally had to get back on track before I regained all of it and was left scratching my head.  Since my surgeon no longer practices bariatric surgery and is not local, I have had to try and figure it out myself.  Complicating factors: aside from injuries, there is menopause, anxiety, depression, the meds that accompany those, and utter exhaustion. I have weaned myself off the antidepressants because they really haven't helped much (exercise is usually much more effective), started daily walks (doggos love it), listening to bariatric themed podcasts, put on bio-identical hormones (still utterly exhausted), visited a different bariatric center for guidance and was put on back to basics diet (good dealio--I have already taken off 15 pounds of the regain), and just visited endocrinologist to see if thyroid might be a factor (family history).  The bloodwork might show anemia as well (I have had three iron infusions and one calcium infusion).  The doctor is also asking me for a bone density scan.  I am handling my business and I see where I turned the wrong corner.  My main issue is lack of attention.  I get bogged down by other things and then stop measuring and suddenly all my clothing is too small.  That is basically why I am back here, searching for inspiration and finding it.  Thank you!
