  1. Happy 48th Birthday Tally!

  2. Happy 47th Birthday Tally!

  3. 3 years has passed since you registered at LapBandTalk! Happy 3rd Anniversary Tally!

  4. Thanks Dee. It is nice to have the band working and feeling restriction. I was wondering how Adorkable was doing as well. The last thing I remembered was that she did find out she had a leak.
  5. I was happy to read this response. Feeling full is most definitely not the same (for me) as pre-banded life. I always wonder if I should be feeling "full" but I'm not. The small bites are still a problem for me but I know when I take the small bites and chew like I should, I eat less and get "full" quicker. Deb
  6. Yup, it was me. I don't think I can possibly have a leak as I am still resticted from that fill in November. Dr. K's says we got very lucky! I cancelled my January fill date and I am probably going to cancel my Feb. date as well. I am losing slowly but that is the way it is supposed to be right? Thanks for thinking of me
  7. Mini, My final weigh is is -3. Finally starting to see some loss but I have been exercising so I'm sure that helps a bit. Thanks. Deb
  8. Thanks Mini I was looking at it and I was thinking oh, I did better than I thought but then I decided to go back and check

    Any Wii Fit Users??

I absolutely love my wii fit and I recently got the we ski which is pretty good too although I wish it had more runs. My favorites are the hula hoop and the step aerobics. I love the free step that I just unlocked. I do that for 20 minutes a night. Let's see if I keep it up though Deb
  10. Mini, While I like your figures better, week 3, I was -2 and week 5 I was -1. Thanks for doing all of this for us Deb

    Hello

Jed, It sounds like you are doing great at only four days post-op. How wonderful. Sounds like a nice drive you had but I know what you mean about being ready to get out of the car. I remember after 1 hour thinking, ok, enough of this, lol. I had my surgery in Denver and a few days after surgery my husband and I thought it would be nice to drive west to see the mountains. I thought we would just sort of drive by and think oh how pretty and then go back to the hotel. Well, my husband had other ideas and we went to a park at an elevation of 75,000 feet. Just after surgery that was not as pleasant as I would have liked. Breathing and walking both proved pretty difficult. But it sure was beautiful. You will be so happy to get on squishy foods. It is quite a learning curve to chew as much as you need to and eat slowly but when done properly, this band really does work. It is an amazing tool. Lots of luck to you. Deb

    Hello

Welcome and congratulations! What a nice Christmas present :tongue2: You will love this site, it is so helpful and everyone is very supportive. I am assuming you live in FL? Whereabouts? I am in Tallahassee. Deb
  13. I don't get email notifications anymore either
  14. I am 3 1/2 months post op and I am also losing lots of hair! I also had all my labs done and all came back good except Vitamin D deficiency, I stopped taking my Vitamin D after surgery. When I went to get my hair cut, my hairdresser (who knows nothing about the surgery) noticed my hair falling out so much and said that a vitamin D deficiency can cause it. I don't know if that is really true but I am back on the vitamin D which also helps my aches and pains. Deb
  15. Hi all, I haven't been on for awhile, I'm having internet issues! Sorry I am weighing in late this week. I have no loss No gain either though. I hope everyone had Happy Holidays. Deb
