Hi Tiffany, I am about 4 weeks out. I had a hernia repair as well. My weight loss has stalled as well. I have noticed that it usually takes about 2 days then it goes down about 1 pound. Warm water is good for constipation. It works almost right away. I have been having a hard time finding things to eat. I can’t stand the smell and taste of the protein shakes or anything else. Been drinking zero Powerade.

Same here. I have been really tired. I also have now developed this nasty taste in my mouth that’s making me not want to eat anything.

How is it now for you? Are you able to eat and get back to some normalcy yet?

Anyone having back pain? My back hurts so bad, and I feel like I’m walking hunched over. Also, I’m 6 days post op and thinking about going back to work tomorrow. Any suggestions. I’m not getting paid for my time off.

Yes I will try that. I drank a boost and it sent my pulse rate up to 136. I’ll try the premiere protein water and see if that helps.

I had a hiatal hernia repair as well. I’m dealing with trapped gas in my chest. Burps that won’t come out. I also haven’t been able to get my recommended liquids down due to the pain when I swallow. Mine was done on 08/23.

Just got home yesterday and my arms are also swollen and hot to the touch. I’m calling my doctor now.

Same here. I had mine yesterday and the gas feels trapped. I’m up walking. Trying to get enough fluids in but it’s difficult for me. We’ll get through this.

Hey mama bear, My surgery is tomorrow morning as well. I have so many worries and am worried about my kids. I just keep hearing the saying in my head that if god brought me to it, he will bring me through it. That is helping me to build my courage and get through this. It will all be okay.

I’m August 23rd. I’m excited and hungry on this pre op diet ??
