  1. Hi Soonlee, I did the same thing! I looked for signs that GOD didn't want me to take this route and got nothing! So on July 12th, I had my surgery. It was awful the first 3 days due to the drugs they had me on. Once I got home, things got better fast. I've been back at work since Monday and I feel great. I make sure I have 3 protein drinks a day and a couple servings of soup. Good luck of your surgery!
  2. So I had my surgery on Monday and oh my gosh… Ouch! I’ve heard people talk about trying to get enough water down to leave the hospital but I just needed to get off the drugs they were giving me. Everything hurt and the drugs made it hard to do anything but sleep. I’ve been home since yesterday and I feel 1 million times better. Fluids are going down pretty easily and I’ve actually managed to stay awake today which is progress for me these days.
  3. Try an unflavored whey protein powder like Isopure or Naked Whey. You can add them to anything like broth, juice…
  4. I'm scheduled for July 12th and I'm completely freaking out! I'm not afraid of the surgery but of life after. Afraid this will be one more tool that I will fail at.
