  1. Thank you @Arabesque! I was prescribed to start taking esomeprazole on day 8 post-op, so last night was the first time I took it. And although I still woke up 3 hours after I went to bed, I felt less "hungry" and was able to go back to sleep! Thank you for your insight.
  2. I had my gastric sleeve surgery on April 21, and this first week after surgery I always wake up after 3 or 4 hours after I go to bed and feeling HUNGRY. Once I wake up I couldn't go back to sleep. I'm still on full liquid stage, I do hit my water and protein goal everyday through always sipping either water, protein shake, or fat-free broth. Did anyone experience? Will this annoying insomnia go away when I'm able to eat more actual food and up my calorie intake? Any advice is greatly appreciated.
  3. Surgery is today! Still feeling surreal.
