Your surgery was 4 days ago. Stay off the scale for a couple of weeks -- it's meaningless right now. A lot of people come home from the hospital heavier than they went in because of all the fluids they pump into you. Right now, you need to focus on your recovery (getting enough fluids and protein), not your weight. If you stick to your plan, you will lose weight.

Please be mindful that not all pills are meant to be crushed, can cause more harm than good (enteric coated and extended release) just a helpful fyi to all

I'm late to ur post but maybe a newbie will see this....I saw a woman on youtube do this and I'm in nursing school and it makes perfect sense in regards to fluid & electrolyte levels....drink a 0 cal gatorade in the morning before you flush your body with a ton of water daily. It avoids headaches and fatigue [emoji177]

I agree with the full liquid. Also with the lightest possible clothes! Scrubs or shorts/tank top if you can, and no shoes. Also, get weighed in the morning, and don't drink/eat anything first if possible. Also, if you still are really close, and I can't believe our effed up insurance system has me saying this, you could "find some way to make sure you've evacuated your bowels". I know since I'm chronically constipated due to meds some days of the week I'm 2 or more pounds heavier depending on when I've last had a BM. Oh, and make sure you're limiting salt and drinking a lot of fluids for a number of days prior to weigh in (same function if not extent of diuretics)..

So I’m proud to say Sunday will wrap up 3 weeks and I have not cheated mentally I’ve had good days and bad days the bad days I had I was on my period and I was just a mess I’m a special case normally pre op liquid diet is 2 weeks I am contemplating eating actual food Sunday then jumping back on but idk if I’ll actually do it

Full liquid diet would probably be the only thing that will work. To get the last 1-2 pounds wear the lightest weight clothes you have and wear slip on shoes to take off for the weight in. It sounds crazy put it could be an extra pound that helps make the difference. Make sure you don't drink or eat 2-3 hours before weight in and of course go to the bathroom right before. It stinks because most of us can weigh a few pounds heavier an any given time of the day.

4/27 sleeve. Can't wait. Trying to shop and plan for pre-op and post op diet now with only 4 days to prep.
