I have kaiser, and I'm finally at my weight goal, I go in on Monday for my weigh in! Super excited. But how long after that do they schedule your surgery? Do you just keep that weight goal. Or keep trying to lose? I'm getting the gastric bypass. And been trying to accomplish this since January. Thank you in advance

They will go off your first weigh in with the first apt you have with them. Usually with a weightloss coach. Don't start losing weight now. Wait till they give you your goal weight. I have to lose ten lbs by eating their diet plan. It hard.

Hello, From elk grove, doing the south sac kaiser. It has taken me a year so far. I wouldn't start losing your weight yet the doctor will give you the goal weight after he approves you for surgery. (That the surgeon for the weightloss) your in for a long road of classes and diet adjustments first. But again I went thru it during covid. Im still waiting surgery date.
