How long till surgery

I have kaiser, and I'm finally at my weight goal, I go in on Monday for my weigh in! Super excited. But how long after that do they schedule your surgery? Do you just keep that weight goal. Or keep trying to lose? I'm getting the gastric bypass. And been trying to accomplish this since January.

Thank you in advance

I lost as much as I could before surgery. It just meant I had less to lose *after* surgery.

  • I had to lose before I got scheduled, I had to have a lower BMI I hit my goal 3 weeks ago. I am scheduled for surgery next Thursday. I did my pre-op yesturday. I am so excited only 5 more days.
