  1. Great idea...I am working hard with diet and exercise so that’s a great answer! Thanks!
  2. Thanks, I like the idea of stating my doctor has me on a plan, which of course he does! And right, if they don’t like it “eff’em” lol!!!
  3. Thanks for the recommendation! I think that could work
  4. My weight was down about 7 years ago when I was diagnosed with Lupus and put on meds that actually made me lose a lot of weight. I went from 235lbs then to 178Lbs due to nausea and sleeping all the time for months. Family and friends noticed but knew it was from my meds. Of course I have gained it all back plus 40lbs so I know I’ll be questioned how I lost weight once again. I don’t want to tell certain family members about WLS because I am not close with them/get along with them and don’t feel I owe them an explanation. How did you manage keeping your weight loss private from those you do not want to discuss it with? I’m so nervous about it and don’t want to lie to them but feel it’s none of their business. Any suggestions?
  5. I had it done in January and didn’t feel or remember one thing! They sedate you so don’t “swallow” anything on your own. When you wake up your a bit groggy but within a few hours you feel better. I ate and drank with no issues on my way home from the procedure. You’ll be fine, it’s a pretty simple procedure ?
  6. Hi there, I’m tentatively scheduled for the end of June but my insurance has still not given the approval so the date may change. Might end up in July. Keeping my fingers crossed the insurance responds by the end of the week. So much anxiety waiting for the call. Good luck to you :)
  7. I am in the same boat! I went up a few pounds (3) at my last 6 month supervised Dr’s visit and hope that doesn’t mean a denial. Waiting for approval now. Insurance said by the end of the week. Hopefully you will be just fine. I wish you luck on losing the last few pounds! Keep us posted how you’re doing!
