    Vitamins

I just asked my bariatric coordinator if I could take gummies because I tried the dissolvable tablets and the after taste was horrible! So I bought the pills from here and I gag every time I take them. I honestly have been very inconsistent and hope I can do gummies again. Btw she said I could take gummies but need to have iron as well

    One glass of wine....

So I’ve watched so many you tube videos and that was a question. The doctor mentioned that the tolerance is very low so maybe a sip or 2 will do LOL my craving is not alcohol but sodas which I hardly drank before surgery 🤷🏻‍♀️
  3. So I tried the smooth move tea and omg I woke up with severe cramps!! I can’t take these cramps anymore, they come and go and so far no poop!! 😭 I will call my doctor tomorrow
  4. I got sleeved 3/16 so no poop since then!! I just bought the smooth tea and milk of magnesia but I’ll take tea first. So basically 3 weeks with no bowel movement and I was regular before 😭😭
  5. So I bought the barimelts dissolvable tablets and omg that awful after taste is so bad! I just can’t take them anymore. I just ordered regular capsules.

    Incision Pain

Since that’s the incision where our stomach was taken out of , it’s more tender. But I’ve noticed the more walking I do the less soreness or pain I feel, although not completely gone.

    Coffee

Yeah my dr said decaf for now. I’m just too scared to try. Also, since coffee is a diuretic, it can cause dehydration so that’s my worry. We just gotta be careful.

Week 2 post op - blended foods

That I know of yes, I have that on my plan along with yogurt. Today I’m 1 week post op and start full liquids.
  9. Don’t take a lot to the hospital , I was there Tuesday and Wednesday I was out. Just comfy slippers to walk around and lose fitting clothes. Walking was highly recommended to relieve gas pain. Sipping was also a big thing but I was very nauseous at first. Because of the IV fluids, I had to go pee like crazy LOL So make sure you don’t rush to go

    I "snuck" having WLS

My family and 3 coworkers know. I don’t plan on telling everyone my business, but if asked, I will say I was doing keto LOL since they knew I did that before. My 6 & 9 year old don’t know, I just told them mommy was sick from her tummy but that’s it. They haven’t even noticed anything different since I still cook for them. My hubby is my #1 supporter , he has been so helpful in this process.

    Any March Surgeries?

March 16, I’m 1 week post op. Let me tell you, when I woke up after surgery I was like omg what did I do?! That pain was no joke! I had 2 c sections before and that pain does not compare LOL
  12. I cannot wait to take sips without discomfort or small pain on my right side. I’m 1week post op today and have felt better and start full liquids today! So happy because now I hate all broth 👎🏼
