  1. Checking in for the first time. I had my first appointment with my surgeon July 28th 2020 and weighed 518 lbs. He asked me to lose 40-50 lbs pre-surgery. I went in for my sleeve December 10th at 421 lbs and as of today, a bit over 3 months it, I’m down to 336.2. I’m in a stall at the moment, my weight hasn’t moved much for a week but I figure that will pass soon. I’ve been able to get in my protein and water without much issue but I did have to switch to capsule vitamins because I couldn’t stomach the chewables. My only real issue is that beef and chicken taste horrible to me since surgery. I never ate a lot of beef but I always ate grilled chicken and that is annoying but I figure it’s temporary so we’ll see. I started at a 60” waist and 5xl shirts and I’m down to a 46” waist and XXL shirts. Overall, I’m extremely pleased with the surgery. Some days are tough but I’m hoping to get to my goal of 220 by early fall.
