  1. That’s such a nasty thing to say! This is why I limited telling people too. You never know how people are gonna react..
  2. I knew beforehand that I wasn’t going to tell anyone about my surgery. I only told my mother and my husband and a friend who had the same surgery done years prior. I don’t think I’ll tell anyone in the future either. I just don’t think it’s anyone’s business...
  3. I was just tired of being the obese one in the family. Everyone in my family is slim and tall and I’ve always been the short fat one. When we went on summer vacation pre-Covid I was miserable. I couldn’t stop sweating, I was really out of shape, and I looked like an Oompa Loompa in all of our pics. I wanted to fit in and just overall feel better. Surgery has been the best decision of my life

  5. I wanna play! I have a long way to go but I’m more than halfway there. Beginning photo was me at my highest weight of 255 a week before surgery. Second photo is me last week at 187. My goal weight is 130lbs. I’ll be 5 months postop on Saturday.
