  1. Hi buddy I'm in Alta Loma and had the surgery in June. It's nice to know someone else in the area that has had it done. I'm a teacher as well at hight school but I used to be a special education teacher before that. Please let's talk more!
  2. Hi I'm not sure if this is the right place to post but I can't seem to find the right place to post a new question, and what chubby diva said seemed to almost fit my circumstances. I had surgery on June 12 and have lost 21 lbs. Went for my first fill on July 15. I don't know how many cc's the fill was but it's been working really well until last week. I know I ate too much on Labor Day and had 4 episodes of pbing that day. Since then I have had the worst hearburn and intense pain in my chest that I have ever had in my life. In the past two days I've just kept to really soft foods and liquids but last night I woke up at 2 am and violently vomited (I'm pretty sure it wasn't a pb). Reading through all these posts I'm scared that the band has slipped, but how does one tell? I'm waiting to call my doctor on Monday but I had it done in Mexico and don't really want to make the 4 hour trip if I don't have to. Any suggestions?
  3. I have been banded for two months, had one fill about 5 weeks ago. I'm finding that recently I'm having trouble eating any kind of fairly solid meat, chicken, pork, hamburger. Even taking the tiniest of bites feels like it's getting stuck. the only meat that seems to go down is thinly sliced deli meat or tunafish with a lot of mayo. any suggestions?
