  1. Hi Ki, I am not doing too bad. Thus 1st few days I found I was pre-occupied with taking the pain medication and having friends round to see me and it was all a bit of a novelty in a way ( sounds a bit strange to call it a novelty but I think you know what I mean!) But I noticed on Saturday my appetite coming back and feeling a bit peckish, whilst definetly sticking with liquids I craved more and my old food insecurities came back with me not knowing when to stop. I have felt a bit weak also but I think I need to get some Protein shakes as I think this may be the problem. Yesterday I felt quite low and although again, sticking to the diet, still consuming too much I think. I am worried about the next few weeks as once I go towards solids, how I will control it. How about you? C x
  2. Hi all, My name is Ciaran, I had my band fitted on 15th June. So am now a week post op, I had my done through the Hospital Group in the UK, and the op was performed at Chelsfield Park Hospital in Kent. Hope everyone is coping ok, I have been fine but the hunger has come back now the swelling has gone, I have been advised this is " Bandster Hell" Good luck to all! Ciaran:thumbup:
