  1. Yes, I do think it is worth giving up steak for a healthier body. I feel that it will take time, but offer results that really last. Thanks for your feedback. I am so ready to do this!
  2. Hi there everyone I am meeting with my surgeon July 14th. I have a BMI of 40 and am a busy working mom with two boys. I need to loose weight, and to change my eating habits, so my MD reccomended this as a solution. I tried Jenny Craig for a year and lost a little. I am just a little concerned about the stories I have heard regarding the difficulties of eating post-surgery. Can you eat normal foods again? Is steak really out of the question? I want to succeed, and I have heard so many positive things about this surgery! Knowing what to expect makes it easier to accept the changes ahead. Anyway it's good to be here with you all.
