Hey hun, thanks for the picture comment. I weighed 430lbs before surgery and I weigh 270 right now. I still have quite the journey ahead of me. I have been banded for 18 months. Congrats on losing 55lbs thats great. My doc told me that you should be losing 1-2 lbs a week and you are right on target. Dont focus so much on the scale but rather losing inches, dropping sizes, etc. How many fills have you had?? and what exactly does your doctor say about everything. I know I hit a plateau for a while and I went in and had a fill and since then its been pretty fast. Try changing up your routine , such as different foods, etc. As far as the water, do you like crystal light? If so thats a great way to get water in. As far as getting the preocedure done, it was basically a 5 month process. After I did all my meetings, paperwork, testing, etc. As far as the actual procedure, it took probably about 2 1/2 hours, and I was the first surgery of the day. I stayed over night although most do not. It is typically a day stay surgery. Good luck, it has been the best decision of my life. If you have any other questions feel free to ask!

Both of those sound cool. I also commute and I'm studying nursing and human services. We will see where both of those go.lol. So when were u banded?
