I am at BMI of 35 or 207lbs at 5'5". My highest weight was 218. I am just finishing up my 6 month prerequisites. Hoping for surgery in January. I have not told very many people. Everyone has their own opinions and I really don't care what they think. I am almost 60 and have been battling my weight since I was 30. Do it for yourself. Keep it to yourself. I am having gastric bypass done due to GERD. I am also a diabetic, hypertension, sleep apnea, joint pain, back pain. I am retiring from Nursing in 2 years and I want to enjoy my new life.
